As founder of Eclipse Financial Services, Justin Butler boasts extensive experience in banking, lending and financial planning and is a “Certified Financial Planner” – the highest accreditation given by the Financial Planning Association of Australia.  Justin began his career in banking, working for over 15 years with Westpac, and prior to establishing Eclipse was Westpac’s Senior Executive Financial Planner in the Whitsundays region.

In 06/07, Justin was ranked in the top 1% of his peers in the annual Australian Financial Review Master Class for Certified Financial Planners.  Justin has called the Whitsundays home since 1992.

Paul Barrett

Lending Consultant

Paul joined the team at Eclipse in 2006, bringing with him experience in all areas of mortgage broking and equipment lending.  Paul worked as a mortgage broker and in real estate sales in Western Sydney before journeying north with his family and falling in love with the Whitsundays.  Over the past two years, Paul has developed a strong understanding of the real estate market in the Whitsundays, and the specific issues that banks have with lending in an area like the Whitsundays.  Throughout his career, Paul has helped over 500 clients to own their first home.

Michelle Young

Client Services Manager/Paraplanner

Prior to joining Eclipse in 2006 Michelle worked for 15 years as a conveyancer/paralegal, primarily responsible for the legal documentation involved with buying and selling property.  Following this role she worked for four years in administration for a leading local accounting firm.  As the client services manager, Michelle is responsible for managing all client data and services.  She also provides support in the area of life insurance, liaising with clients to gather all those important details.  Michelle is also a Commissioner for Declarations so is able to witness most legal documents.  Having moved to the Whitsundays in 1991 Michelle has a great infinity with the area.  If you would like to make an appointment to see one of the team at Eclipse or should you have any queries in relation to any of the services provided, Michelle would be more than happy to discuss these matters with you.
